Molly Dreams Of The Olympics!

Hello, famous Olympic Gymnast Molly McIntire here! I love gymnastics so much. I want to be an Olympian so bad!!!

Today, while practicing my leaps, spins and splits for American Girl Gymnastics, I kind of day dreamed a little......;)

"Molly, you are kind of stiff on that back handspring," I told myself. "You need to breathe. Relax." I took a deep breath, and then let it all out. "Blue skies in, gray skies out," I chanted from the McKenna movie. I let my eyes wander around the room. My world slowly wandered away and I found myself dreaming.......

"Please welcome Molly McIntire, first Doll Olympic Gymnastic for the 2016 Olympics!" Boomed the voice in the loudspeaker.

I was in the future....in 2016!!

The lights went dim.

I was performing.

"Here she tries her hand at the front handspring, and then she will attempt the back handspring!" the loudspeaker announced again.

All went silent.

The spotlight shone only at me. The crowd gasped when I started to topple a little, my front handspring just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle off balance. I regained my strength, and with a mighty heeve! and a strong ho! I pushed myself forward...

Finishing the front handspring!

I struck my final, proud pose, and the crowd stood up and cheered.

I mean, it just ROARED for the famous Molly McIntire!!

Blowing imaginary kisses to to the crowd, I felt a light hand slowly shaking my out of my daydream.

"Molly! MOLLY! Molly! Wake up, Molly! EARTH TO MOLLY!! Are you there???" Cecile was saying when I finally snapped out of my little dream. I felt my face turn hot. "I was just...having a daydream," I smiled. Cecile giggled.

Well, that's the end of my Gymnastics Practice! I'm SO wanting the Summer Olympics to come oh so soon. Only 2016 is so long away!

Do you think I'll make it to the Olympics?

~Love,

Molly
(with Madison, Josefina and Cecile! ;))
