Cece Finds a Swimming Pool

Bonjour! The lovely Cecile Rey here. A few minutes ago, I found this lovely swimming pool downstairs, so I rushed upstairs and got our swimsuit and wrap on and then grabbed a towel. It's just freezing outside, so thank goodness the swimming pool I found is INSIDE!

I dove down the stairs (literally!)

Almost there......

I'm entering the nursery! This is where all the babies/toddlers stay when church is going. (we live in the parsonage of our church)

Here it is! Here's the swimming pool!

                                                 

I spread my towel on the floor and was about to jump in when "CECILE REY! WHAT IN TARNATION ARE YOU DOING?!?!!" I looked back. "Oh! Hi mom! I'm about to go swimming. I put my hair up so my curls would get all messy--" "Cecile, that is NOT a swimming pool!" "It isn't?"

My mom threw back her head and laughed. "No, honey, it isn't. What you're looking at is a human toilet!" "WHAT?!?!?!!!" "Yes, honey, a toilet. Please ask me before you go anywhere so I can stop you from getting into trouble, thank goodness I was here to stop you, ok?" I nodded and said "Okay mom."

I looked longingly at the toilet swimming pool. I wish I could swim...

"C'mon honey, let's go upstairs, it's just freezing down here." my mom told me. With one last wistful glance at my 'swimming pool' I reluctantly followed my mom upstairs.

How do humans do it so easily?!

Anyways, since I couldn't go swimming in real water, my mom and I substituted by doing the body float on blue pillows! Well, only me.

Happy Spring Wish from Molly!

Happy Spring! Molly here...even though the official day of Spring was days ago, it really feels like Spring now! Gorgeous weather, rain and winds all mean May flowers are coming! I have a freshly picked bouquet in my hands now. Find out how to make them here!
       April is my favorite month...because of Spring, and my birthday! It's funny, my birthday is a day after mom's brothers' birthday! LOL! Happy Spring everyone...what are your plans on how to spend this gorgeous day?

Creative Craft Corner!!

Hello all! The lovely Cecile here, coming to present to you another of our Creative Craft Corner's! 

Today, we are showing you all how to make your own doll-sized pencils, out of only three(3) things you may already hace on hand! (and at the end of our post, a bonus craft!)

                                                                     You will need:

* a shish-ka-bob stick (not pictured)

* Scissors 

*Crayons

*And a parent to help if you need it.

First, take out your scissors and your shish-ka-bob stick. With your scissors and a parents help if it's difficult, cut your shish-ka-bob stick in half. You can use the non-pointy end for another craft if you'd like, but we need the point half for this craft.

Here comes the FUN part! Get out your crayons and color the following:

Color the pointy end black,

The rest of it yellow,

And the end of it pink or red for the 'eraser'!

There you go! Your own doll-sized pencil that wont cost you a cent!

  We hope you had fun crafting with us today! You can experiment with different colors for colored pencils if you'd like. If you made one of our crafts, we'd love to know!

Molly-Anne in the Jungle!

Hehehe! Molly-Anne here(Mini Molly)....in the jungle! Come with me and share my amazing jungle adventure!!!

 Outside at last!

How green these plants are!!!!

This exotic plant must've come all the way from China! In fact, it has a very interesting name. Weed.

I tried to climb this small tree, but it was pointy! Ouch! It also has a weird name. Weed. Two weeds? interesting!

A little ways from the pointy tree was a rock. Hmm, a rest would be nice, I realized.

Ahhhh! Looking at the pretty, exotic scenery.

A very rare bug! It has a VERY interesting name! Roly-poly! It is very exotic indeed.

Well finally I decided to make shapes out of clouds so I gathered up some dry leaved and laid down, looking up at the sky (I was in the shade, don't worry I didn't hurt my eyes by looking at the sun)

Another tall weed! It doesn't look rare at all! They have 'em all over the place! I wonder...

I ventured over to a swing. 

 Under the swing, I realized something....quick sand! Yikes!! I was SINKING!!! It's weird, people call this mud. "It's actually quicksand," I tell them. Scrambling out of the quicksand, I sighed with relief, that had been a close one.

 I rested under a fort.

 Isn't this wonderful?

Sooner or later, I heard buzzing. LOUD buzzing. I looked up to see a nest swarming with wasps the size of my head! I let out a high-pitched screech that pierced the air as I scrambled to get out of there as fast as I could.

I threw myself onto the rock, my heart beating quickly and my breathing hard. What a scare I had!

Deciding I had enough adventure for one day, I posed myself in front of the wall just beside the door. Waving bye, I scurried inside--thankfully, we hardly ever have wasps inside!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my adventure in the jungle! It's strange, humans call it backyards. I think jungle is much more exotic, rare and interesting than plain old 'backyard'.

Molly On The...Bars?

Haha! I am a genius. Even though I can't get on the on the beam quite yet, I can still do the gymnastics bars with Coach Josie's help!!!

Movie Description: Molly has recently got her cast off, yet she can't get on the beam quite yet-- her ankle isn't used to walking on it's own. But with Coach Josie's help, Molly can go on the bars no problem...without using her foot. Go Molly!!!

MOLLY GETS HER CAST OFF

EEEK!! I'm so excited....I'm getting my cast off from when I broke it a few weeks ago on the beam. It wasn't that bad of an injury, so it only needed a few weeks to heal instead of those six weeks the doctors predicted. I'm in the waiting room now--none of these magazines look very interesting, I just want to get my cast off!

"Molly?" came the voice of my sweet doctor, Dr. Celina. (can you tell its really Cecile? ;)) 

I love the little Scottish dog on her Doctor Coat!

I 'crutched' as fast as I could in my crutches! :P

"Are you excited to get your cast off?" Dr. Celina asked. "You bet!" I exclaimed. Dr. Celina smiled sweetly and led me to a door. "Right this way!"

 Another doctor greeted me. "Hi, I'm Doctor Jaylin," the doctor introduced herself. (can you tell it's really Josefina? ;)) "I'm here to take your cast off. I'm going to bring in a saw and I'm going to saw your cast off." I jumped back, obviously about to have a heart attack. Dr. Jaylin laughed. "No, no, sweetie," she smiled. "It's a special saw, a battery-powered one, only meant to cut the material on your cast. It only tickles it if reaches your skin! If you feel safer, I'll let the saw on your skin for a little bit before we saw your cast off, so you can see how safe it is." I nodded, feeling a little less scared.

 Dr. Jaylin brought in that small, electric saw and let it run on my arm. I giggled. "It tickles!!!"I shrieked. Dr. Jaylin nodded knowingly. Soon she let the saw run on the side of my cast. It tickled like crazy then!

"There you are!" Dr. Jaylin exclaimed as she opened up my cast. "And since you were such a good patient, you get to keep your cast. It's decorated so beautifully by your friends!"

"Yes," I answered proudly. "I have very good friends--that are actually my sisters!" 

Dr. Jaylin gave me my other shoe and said, "You'll have to stay on crutches for a week or two since your foot isn't used to walking on its own yet. After that, you won't have to come here again! You're all better! I mean, you could drop in to say hi once in a while but other than that you're a healthy girl."
I smiled. Dr. Jaylin was funny! I waved hi and then walked out the door with my crutches. I couldn't wait to get back to gymnastics again!

P.P.S. A doctor actually said that to Madison! He said, "You're all better! You'll have to have your wrist in a splint for a little while since its not used to moving on its own since that cast, but otherwise you don't have to come here again! I mean, you could drop in to say hi once in a while but other than that you're a healthy girl." LOLOL!!!

Happy April Fools Day! :)

Hello, everyone! Molly here. Oh, I hardly noticed you, I was so deep in this magazine I am reading...

Well, we aren't posting anything nice for April Fools Day. Just a simple hi.
Haha! Fooled you! We're doing a whole post for April Fools Day! ;)

Anyway, how is your April Fools Day? hahaWe fooled a lot of people, ourselves even! LOL! Me and Josie played a simple prank on Cece....we made her some popcorn, then painted our hands to look like 5-headed worms! We cut a hole trough the bottom of the bowl and stuck our hands in the bottom of it. We held it as Cecile reached for some. Cecile ate a couple of pieces, then screamed when she saw our hands wiggling!

She got us back by giving us some flowers......as she handed them to us, one of the flowers wasn't really a flower at all...a tube that looked like a flower...that squirted water at us! LOLOL!

Cecile came in to see what I was reading. "Happy April Fools Day!" I exclaimed, looking up from the magazine. Cecile smiled and sat down next to me. "You really gave me the creeps when you pulled that little prank on me!" she laughed, replaying the moment. "You should've seen the look on your face," I grinned.

Josefina came in, too. "You should've seen the look on your faces when that water splat you right in the nose!" Cecile shook her head. "I thought you had choked on the water or something! But I guess you girls had fooled me...haha! Happy April Fools Day, everyone." Josefina giggled, remembering the funny pranks we had pulled and gotten, then sat down, peering over my shoulder to look at what I was reading. "Aww, those little birds look adorable," Josefina exclaimed as she read that AG was showing us how to make little pom-pom birdies and nests.
