Josefina's Picnic Adventure!

Yesterday, Josefina had an adventure with mom and her brother! (who we call dad, but technically he would be our uncle.)

Passing it to you, Josie!

~Molly

Josefina here!! :)

Mama packed my lunch and then I began my adventure.

¡vamonos, everyone! Let's go!

I sat in fort M and R and decided to check out my lunch.

I wonder what's in there?

Ooooh! A drink, some apple slices in a bag,

and a cheese sandwich.

 Yummy!

After I ate I decided to swing for a little while.

WHEEEEEE!!

Then I rested. My eyes got drowsy, and I dozed off in this peaceful and windy but warm afternoon, listening to the calm, playful shrieks and laughter of mom and dad swinging and playing and doing all sorts of odds and ends.....ZZZZZZZZZZZ.

When I woke up, I found myself posing for the camera. I flashed a big smile, and here I am! On a blog! And not just any blog, no, it's DELIGHTFUL WORLD OF DOLLS!!!!!!!

I'M FAMOUS! :O

Just kidding ;)

~Molly and Molly-Anne

The 7 Random Dollies!

Hi girls! Recently, on the AGFMB, Hope started this awesome thing called The 7 Random Dollies! It's where each day of the week a doll does a video about the theme of the week. It is kind of confusing, so here is the link to Hope's post about it on her blog, AG Dolly Sisters. http://www.agdollysisters.blogspot.com/2013/03/7-random-dollies-audtions-please-read.html(be sure to check her blog out! It's amazing!) Please join AG Dolly Sisters, it can't start until we have 7 dollies. :(

Interview With Jackie and Hope!

Hello, our Delightful World of Dolls readers! Yesterday, we interviewed Hope from AG Dolly Sisters and Jackie from AG Is Awesome(AG and whatnot). We thought you'd just love to see!

We color-coded the text so you can tell who is asking the questions and who is answering.

Green-Delightful World of Dolls
Purple-Jackie
Red-Hope

We are interviewing Jackie first.

What is/are your favorite American girl doll(s), out of all the ones that AG has made?
I like my doll Nicole(she's sleeping right now)
Do you have a blog or website? If you do, tell us about it! If you don't, tell us your favorite!
My favorite Blog or Website is americangirlfan.com because I get to interact with girls who like AG as well as me.
What do you do most with your American Girl dolls?
I like to take pictures or go to AG stores with them.
Is there any advice you'd like to give girls who are thinking about starting their own Message Boards? Your Message board, AG Is Awesome(agisawesome.boardhost.com) is so....awesome! ;)
Think of really good forums that would attract users,Make rules and make your own choices.

Thank you so much for doing this interview with us, Jackie! We loved to have you featured on Delightful World of Dolls.

Now, we are going to interview Hope from AG Dolly Sisters!

Who is your favorite AG doll, out of all the dolls there's ever been (this includes retired ones)
That's a hard one! But, I'd definitely say Felicity and Elizabeth. Samantha comes in close second! :)
What do you do must with your American Girl dolls?
I normally do their hair and dress them up, but I also love to make photostories and videos with them, I also love to make them do crazy things lol
Do you have a blog/website/message board?
I have my own blog (AG Dolly Sisters) at www.agdollysisters.blogspot.com. I have a blog about or doll families with 2 other girls, and an American Girl reviews blog. You can find the link at my blog.
What do you think of Delightful World of Dolls?
I love Delightful World of Dolls! I check back almost everyday for new posts, and I love all the fun and entertaining videos/photostories you do! I give your blog a 5-star rating!
Is there any advice you'd like to give to girls who are thinking about starting their own blog?
Hmm.....just entertain your viewers! Give them photostories, videos, not just plan old blog posts!
Thanks for interviewing me, Madison! I look forward to future Delightful World of Dolls posts to come!

Thank you, Hope! We loved to have you and Jackie featured here on Delightful World of Dolls. Good luck with your blogs and Jackie's message board!

Baby Cousin Lavender?

A baby stumbled into the AG room. "Blah bitt boo boo mama!"

Cecile stood up and cried, "Shoo! Shoo, you're not an American Girl! Get out of here!"

Josefina, the warm-hearted, sweet and loving doll, picked the little baby up. "Nonsense," she argued. "She's adorable! Poor thing, she doesn't have a mother."

Molly came in to join the scene. "Awww!" she teased. "The baby likes you! She's giving you a hug."
Cecile just shook her head. "I don't want BABIES that aren't even AMERICAN GIRL to be in here! She'll just slobber all over our things!"
Josefina just planted a kiss on top of the baby's head. "Well, the reasonable thing to do would be to find it's mother," Molly stated.
"What if it's homeless?" Josefina cried.
"We'll ask our mom to take care of her!"
"That's a great idea, Molly!"
Cecile joined in our conversation.
"Absolutely not! Mom's got enough on her hands already."
"Oh, it wouldn't hurt to just try, would it, Cecile?"
"Whatever. As long as I don't have to change the baby's diapers, I'm fine."

Turns out, Mom(Madison) adopted Lavender (Lavender is what we named her) and now she is our little baby cousin! Lavender is made by Mattel. Technically, she is American Girl, considering Mattel now owns AG.
(Cecile eventually warmed up to Lavender ;))

We're so happy that we have a new baby cousin! Welcome to dolly world, baby Lavender!

~Love,

Molly and Madison, with Josefina, Cecile, and Baby Lavender!

Molly On The Beam!

Hi! Molly here! Yesterday I did my beam routine, and we thought we'd share it with you all today! :) Now I normally wear my gymnastic leotard, but today I was just practicing, not performing, so I stuck with my practice outfit.

Bam! I had just landed my back-handspring when I realized I was being photographed.

Oh, hello there! Watch me do my glorious cartwheel!

Ta-da!

Soon, I began getting kind of proud and uhh...well, did something NOT on my routine. That was jumping and then doing a split in the air, then landing. I wasn't supposed to be doing this, because it was too advanced for me. But I had done it on the flour routine, so how hard could it be on the beam? I wanted to show my awesomeness off, anyway.

Jump! Splits! Land! HA! I could do it perfectly!

However, I landed kind of funny. Uh oh.

I landed to the ground with a thud. All of the sudden, I heard someone let out an air-piercing scream. Then, I realized it was me. Grasping my ankle, I let out a groan of agony. I could barely whisper for my mom. Luckily, she was in there the time I fell, and called 911 right away.

As I laid in the ambulance, I began to regret showing off.....

Two hours later, I was back home again. I had a cast and crutches. It was kind of hard to walk in them, but I managed.

As I limped past the beam with my crutches, I knew I wouldn't be showing off for a long, long time.

And I hope YOU never will! I learned my lesson, alright....6 weeks in a cast! I'm going to miss out on practice terribly. :(

NEVER show off, my fellow dollies and their mommies! You will regret it!

Molly's Bad Grade Day... :(

Hello, girlies! One post followed by another...LOL! Last night, mom took some awesome pictures for a movie we made and it's ready to share with ya'll today!

Movie description: Molly had a great day at school. Yet there was the hardest spelling test! Yikes! When Molly get's into the car, she checks her grade, and with sinking hopes for Six Flags, she realizes it's an F. Her mom promised her she'd take her to Six Flags if she got good grades. Tears streaming down her cheeks, she sits and feel sorry for herself. Finally realizing she can get extra credit by studying harder for the next test, she cheers up and remembers to shine by doing her best! The music is "We Are" by Kari Jobe.
